We’ve known about climate change since the 1980s. Prof. Cocca and the letter-to-the-editor writers must have been relatively young. None of them are likely to have dealt with it at the time – and not in the 40 years in between. Otherwise they would have already started to take responsibility. But since this has hardly happened in society for 40 years, some boys simply have enough. They don’t want to be fobbed off anymore. The time for the 1.5 degree target has already passed, we are heading for extreme changes. The sooner you work on it, the better the damage will be limited. But if no massive measures are taken now, it will only get bigger. The responsibility for this rests with the elders! Not in part, but in full!
Therefore: please tackle with all your strength and take (or have) measures that are more than tranquilizer pills. Then no more gluing and pouring is necessary.
