Austria has finally shown its flag. Many nebochants in Brussels don’t care about our safety. There must be no enlargement until the Schengen Agreement is brought into line with practice. Internal border controls are reduced in the implementation agreement, but measures for controlling the external Schengen border are neglected. Without the possibility of refoulement, even increased border controls are pretty pointless. Federal Chancellor Nehammer is right when he says: “As long as 75,000 strangers arrive unregistered in eastern Austria, this is a security problem and this must finally be solved.” We need skilled workers, but no sleepers in the social hammock. In terms of security and protection of the population, the EU is a complete failure, and it is slowly becoming a security risk for Austria.
