The part-time workers, mostly mothers, are disadvantaged. I ask myself: How much time is left for the common? With the development towards full-time employment, we are “steering” in the wrong direction. Living in a relationship – how is that supposed to work? An overwhelmed mother, worn out by everyday life, who is torn between work and family. No, that’s actually not a perk.
Family life, everyday life with the children, observing their development and supporting them in difficult periods of life – who can catch up on these experiences at a later point in time? It may well be that my presentation no longer seems up-to-date, but in retrospect – maybe a plus!
