Rather, it is about a nationwide expansion of child education and care facilities, adequate and value-secured payment for child-rearing periods up to at least the age of ten, a right to full-time work, better pay for typical female professions and more female employment in technology.
All of these would be suitable measures that the ÖVP has been preventing for years to give women and families more self-determination. Automatic pension splitting would be another trap to distract from the real problems.
