He was admitted to the Brothers of Charity hospital in Linz and immediately received the best possible care. The doctors on ward 44 and the palliative care ward, as well as the nursing staff, took care of our father in a touching, caring and unhurried manner and also gave us comfort. They made time for him and us despite the lack of staff.
We were informed immediately when the end was near and we were able to say goodbye to our father. He was able to pass away calmly and with the sacraments of the dead surrounded by his family. We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff from the bottom of our hearts.
