They block roads, disrupt traffic, create traffic jams so people can’t keep appointments and get to work on time, deface paintings in museums, and commit criminal acts by deflating SUVs they say are “the devil’s.” . Does this militant force believe that these actions are making a positive contribution to climate protection and winning the sympathy of the population? This form of eco-terrorism is counterproductive and does the commitment to innovative climate policy a disservice.
It is time for the rule of law to put an end to this activity within the framework of the legal possibilities.
