Assessing a quality by geographical criteria says something about the political analyst. Local profiling may have been a motive. But that wouldn’t be good style either.
It is not only the case in Austria, but also in various western countries, that even lawyers do not manage to bring criminal asylum seekers out of the country in accordance with the rules. Unfortunately, the EU leadership seems powerless in the face of escalating social tensions. It is also a reality that asylum seekers who are positively integrated are robbed of their chances to become valuable fellow citizens with us. Not only in Vienna!
