After all, Linz is only a province, and in the competitive pincers between Vienna, Salzburg and Munich, an interesting positioning – railway connections, transport logistics, cultural center, tourism – is not given. My idea is a joint Linz-Salzburg airport in the Vöcklabruck foothills of the Alps. This location can be ideally combined with railway and road connections. The city of Salzburg would also be relieved of air traffic.
