That is no longer possible, cars are no longer loaded in Vienna, but in Innsbruck. But that’s not why I’m driving from Steyr to Innsbruck. So we will travel directly to Hamburg by car. Clever? Climate friendly? Wouldn’t it be possible for the ÖBB to attach a car transport wagon to the night train in Vienna, at least on certain days (weekends)?
