Away with it, quick!

The history of the human error called private transport is rich in idiotic developments. The rental e-scooter in the cities is one of the youngest. Unhelmeted immortals hiss it illegally down sidewalks and throw it where it falls from their hands. That’s why the Parisians call this anarchist phenomenon “scooters”. There’s sidewalk in it and idiots probably too.

So far, tightening the rules for companies that rent out such pointless scooters have not brought anything, which is why the Parisians were right when they spoke out in favor of a ban.

Walk a kilometer or two, dear people, you have that much time and it keeps you healthy.

CONS

Good alternative

It makes sense that inner-city car traffic should be reduced. In addition to the bicycle, the e-scooter offers a good alternative for people who want to get from A to B in the city quickly. Rental bikes and rental scooters are offered in almost all major European cities, with astonishing differences in e-scooter practice. In fact, in Linz or Vienna there is almost anarchy. Personal experiences in Spain, Italy or Germany show that this type of mobility can also be practiced sensibly. So the problem is not the e-scooters, but rather lax rules and, above all, some users whose stupidity unfortunately cannot be forbidden.
