A few days before the legislative elections, the current Head of Government’s speech does not point to projects, solutions, or listen to his electorate. His objective is much further ahead and, at the moment, he is concerned with moving the pieces that allow him to achieve it. His first move was to castle María Eugenia Vidal and Diego Santilli in Province and Capital, and both candidates demonstrated, on repeated occasions, that they do not know the terrain in dispute. They just repeat empty phrases with no political marketing sense. They do not know the territory or the agenda of the neighbors. They will not defend the interests of citizens, but the individual interest of Larreta and Macri.
On the sidewalk in front, or rather next door, the “liberals” stand with Javier Milei at the head, who came to present a new way of doing politics but who are increasingly closer to the right and play the game and then vote all the laws against the workers and the rights won.
“I decide that the privileges of politics end” says one of the main Juntos campaign spot. I would like to know what Larreta and his partners say about the privileges of large business groups, which they do and undo as they please, endorsed by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. Without going any further, the construction of towers of up to 45 floors on a wetland bordering the Ecological Reserve and the Rodrigo Bueno Neighborhood are examples of this, in addition to all the negotiations carried out behind the backs of the Buenos Aires people and delivered to their friends.

We have to end the empty messages of this legislative campaign. The center of the debate should go through whether the citizens of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires want to live in a city with luxury and real estate deals for the few, or in an inclusive one that prioritizes green spaces for public use. Neighbors need concrete proposals to improve their quality of life.
The porteños and the porteñas have the possibility to choose between two models of country: the one that does not propose, impoverishes and benefits a few; and the one that expands rights wants an Argentina for all and puts employment at the center.
We need profound changes. In principle, the agreement with the International Monetary Fund should not suffocate the people, let us grow. We have to put solidarity, social justice, and the sustained growth of our national industry that creates genuine employment before liberalism as a method and form of organization of society that leaves it helpless and unprotected in these post-pandemic times.
There was self-criticism and correction of the course, and that is what the lesson received for the Front of All in the PASO was about. The Government took note and acted. We look forward to the self-criticism of the big business groups that monopolize the food market and that abused the raises. We also hope that they correct the course and have sensitivity for the Argentine people, they have to stop competing for those who get richer and in less time, and think about a collective project of the country, because it is already inadmissible for families to go hungry in our country .
This is the country that we love and want for our children, we want a worthy nation that restores faith and hope to its people. We have to be the ones who lead the process of change that leads us to build an Argentina with equal opportunities.
We have to be clear that on November 14 not only is the composition of a Congress chosen, but that Argentina is going to choose its destiny. Today everything is fleeting, everything seems ephemeral, it is difficult for us to enjoy simple things. That is why I want to call you to reflection and put your anger aside, that the media powers do not harden your minds and hearts, and privilege a collective project that will surely defend labor, national industry and update the rights won with justice. Only in this way will we achieve the homeland we dream of and the one we want for our children and grandchildren.
