Strengthening the electric transport system is of vital importance for the growth in the production of energy, because it promotes the integration of new sources of traditional and renewable generation. This approach by the State and the companies that face the execution of each initiative contributes to consolidate a diverse matrix and that accompanies the transition towards a sustainable and sustainable generation.
The expansion of infrastructure that currently takes place between different routes on the national map aims to improve the reliable transmission of this production, which usually takes place in areas far from the large centers of consumption, such as Greater Buenos Aires.
By enabling the exchange of energy between regions, a substantial contribution is added to the balance between areas with greater and lesser generation capacity. Likewise, the exponential availability of power prepares the ground for the installation of new industrial enterprises, having a positive impact on the regional and national economy.
One of the projects, executed by our specialized company INTESAR SA, is about to be launched and inaugurated in Buenos Aires. This is the 500 kV Electrical Interconnection that links the towns of Bahía Blanca and Mar del Plata. Together with the 132 kV connection to Villa Gesell, North section and South section, this work extends the system through 410 kilometers of extra high-voltage line between two of the most populated cities in the interior of the province.
The case of the Bahian party, according to the last census of 2022, has 335,190 inhabitants, while the population of the spa city of La Feliz adds up to 682,605 people, which implies a massive consumption of close to a million users.
With the Bahía Blanca – Mar del Plata Electrical Interconnection, the reliability of the system and supply are significantly optimized. For us, as an Argentine company, it is enormously proud to be able to finish this great work that adds to the more than 3,300 kilometers of high-voltage line built by INTESAR SA and represents another correct step towards consolidating the energy transition.
This is so because, in addition to reducing the probabilities of interruptions in the short and medium term, by facilitating the connection of renewable sources, the line will contribute to the growth of the system from a sustainable vision.
There is still a lot of work to be done in the country, since there are still projects for renewable and traditional transition generation that are in the pipeline and that require the expansion of the electric transport system so that they can become a reality that meets energy needs. in every corner of the country and to produce federal and balanced growth.
The planning of the growth and expansion of electric transport and the construction of new generation projects must overcome the political and ideological differences of the national and provincial administrations of the future. Only then will we be able to carry out works that will make the energy system and development more robust, reliable and federal.
