The effects of cannabis are well researched: not only does it induce a high, but it also alters the perception of pain, stimulates appetite and helps some people relax. Many patients use “weed” to relieve discomfort. Getting them out of illegality is reasonable. In addition, according to experts, cannabis as a stimulant should be less dangerous and cause less family suffering than alcohol. Smoking a joint does not automatically turn to heroin or other hard drugs.
There must be zero tolerance for children and young people. It has been proven that cannabis causes great damage to their brains. Driving stoned is also a no-go.

Not intelligent
Cannabis is not one of the “hard drugs” like heroin or crystal meth, smoking weed is definitely not really harmless. Addiction doctor Kurosch Yazdi-Zorn has been warning of the consequences of this supposedly “soft” drug for years. More and more often there would be people who suffer from the consequences of cannabis consumption, who are dependent and, in the worst case, develop psychoses or cannabis dementia, reports the Upper Austrian doctor and goes on to argue: Anyone who is before the end of brain development – women at 23, men at the age of 25 – regularly puffs up a joint, lets up to ten percent of your thinking ability evaporate. Declining intelligence should really be reason enough to keep your hands off it.
