Not only is it necessary for the development and maintenance of the country’s basic infrastructure, but it also contributes to maintaining the income and well-being of thousands of families. In these times that we live, it is essential to trust and bet on the multiplier effect through investment and public-private collaboration, generating a positive effect mainly as a source of work, either directly or indirectly.
Construction proved to be highly adaptable, surpassing 370,000 jobs last July, placing it above pre-pandemic levels. Likewise, I emphasize that the new generations who are in charge of key functions knew how to adapt to the situation with professionalism, which generates confidence for future years.
Among the conditions that should be taken into account to enhance its development, I consider investment in infrastructure networks to be key to be able to source raw materials or reach other markets without operating complications. In turn, soft credit lines, lower construction taxes, the creation of housing plans and export incentives would give an important boost to the sector.
As the leader of a construction supplies company, I ratify the importance of working through participation strategies that allow meeting the proposed objectives, both in economic results and in the reorganization achieved as a team to adapt to the context of which we are coming out stronger. Because we trust our country, we develop new products incorporating new technology and new techniques, which combined with our experience and track record allow us to provide the best service and be attentive to market needs.
