Colorful is good
Impossible!, I thought when my little brother, a teenager, wore a bonnet 25 years ago – always and everywhere. Today I think: Why not?
I combine sneakers with my dirndl, and at Christmas services I see jeans as well as fur jackets. And a woman who was probably over 70 years old in a long, powder pink tulle skirt really delighted me in the audience at a summer theater performance. Today, whatever you like is allowed.
The world is colorful. You can see that. Sometimes I like to adapt and then show individuality again. This is particularly easy to do with clothing – for example a hood. Or the thing simply warms your ears because the air conditioning is once again set too cold. Also good.

Does not have to be
I am conservative, a colleague told me in the discussion about hoods in the office as a fashion accessory (and not to prevent a cold or to protect yourself from drafts).
And in this case, I admit: Yes, I am. Conservative, that is. Everything is now allowed in terms of fashion. Sandals and white socks, sweatpants in public, bra straps that are wider than the shirt straps – and now hoods indoors too. The only question is: does that have to be the case?
Everyone is free to do anything privately. But in the office? There was once a time when it was a sign of politeness to remove one’s head covering indoors. But I guess politeness is out.
