The court arrested Cadillac driver Dmitry Makhalov, who shot at a taxi driver in Moscow, until February 3. This was reported on December 4 by the Izvestia correspondent from the courtroom.
A 39-year-old man is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism committed with the use of weapons”).
The incident took place on December 3 on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street. Izvestia published a video recording made at the time of the conflict.
According to preliminary data, the taxi driver stood in the right lane, turning on the emergency gang. The driver of the Cadillac Escalade could not pass. There was a verbal skirmish between the men, and then the driver of the SUV fired a shot, previously, from a traumatic weapon.
The shooter fled the scene, but was detained. The victim was hospitalized.
It is known that Makhalov has already been tried. He was involved in the theft case, and also became a participant in a scuffle in Khimki, during which he hit his opponent in the chest with a Phillips screwdriver keyring. In addition, the man was allegedly involved in another road conflict.
