Russian President Vladimir Putin praised the decision of the United Russia party to report annually to the population of the country.
“I think it is right that you now intend to report to people every year, talk about the specific deeds of the party, about what you have managed to do. We must honestly talk about problematic issues, about what has not yet been possible, to propose solutions, ”the Russian leader said on December 4 at a plenary session of the third stage of the XX Congress of a political force.
Putin also noted that United Russia has all the resources to support people with problems they face
“With the most pressing problems that worry them, they [люди] turn to you, to their representatives in power, hoping for a response and prompt assistance from the most influential political force. I emphasize that you have all the resources to support people in solving the issues they raise, ”the President said.
The Russian leader said that a person, his well-being and quality of life should always be in the spotlight.
According to Putin, the convincing victory of “United Russia” in the September elections was a significant result for the stable and effective development of the country, the party offered the Russians a constructive and unifying agenda.
“I believe that United Russia has adequately proved itself in the rather difficult, in many ways extraordinary conditions of the election campaign, withstood a tough open competition and won confidently, with a solid advantage, once again proved that it is rightfully the party-leader, the party of popular representation and parliamentary majority, ”the head of state said.
The President believes that voters positively assessed the renewal of the party’s ranks; volunteers, civic activists and youth leaders became its candidates for elections at various levels.
United Russia was the first of the major social political forces to support the We Are Together volunteer movement and took an active part in it. Many members and supporters of the party literally from the first days, weeks of fighting the pandemic, became volunteers, helped doctors and nurses in hospitals and clinics, delivered medicines, did everything necessary to make people feel attention and care during this difficult period, ”Putin said.
“United Russia” is holding on Saturday the third, final stage of its jubilee, XX Congress, at which it sums up the results of the September elections to the State Duma. In its course, the rotation of the party’s governing bodies will be carried out.
The third stage is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of United Russia, which was celebrated on December 1.
