“The party offered the citizens of Russia a constructive, creative and unifying agenda, came out with a program that it began to form long before the elections, during meetings and conversations with people, discussing topical, acute, pressing issues with them. The program rightfully began to be called popular, because it is based on the proposals and ideas of the inhabitants of our huge country, all its regions, ”said the head of state.

According to Putin, it is important that each point of the party’s program “is thought out, calculated from the point of view of implementation, execution within certain, specific terms.”

In addition, the Russian leader positively assessed United Russia’s decision to report annually to the country’s population. According to him, after the elections, the party began to fulfill its goals.

Earlier, on November 30, Hero of the Russian Federation, Senator Alexander Karelin said that United Russia is different in that it takes on difficult tasks, which is why the party gains the confidence of voters. According to him, the task of “United Russia” is to look for ways and “do so that the country becomes stronger.”

On Saturday, United Russia is holding the third and final stage of its 20th anniversary congress, at which it sums up the results of the September elections to the State Duma. In its course, the rotation of the party’s governing bodies will be carried out.

The third stage is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of United Russia, which was celebrated on December 1.

In 2021, United Russia won the elections to the State Duma, gaining 49.82% of the vote. For the first time, elections to the State Duma were held in a new, three-day format. September 19 was the main voting day, and September 17 and 18 were optional. In seven regions of the country, it was possible to vote both online and in person at a polling station.
