The driver of the Zhiguli car in Derbent, Dagestan, gave a ride to a traffic police officer on the hood and disappeared. The video of the incident was published on social networks on Saturday, December 4.
The footage shows how an employee of the road patrol service did not allow the tinted car to pass. Then the car moved, the law enforcement officer drove for some time on the hood, but then jumped off it, and the intruder disappeared in the car. After that, the suspect abandoned the car.
Later, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on its Telegram channel that the wanted offender was without a license.
“Without a driver’s license, a man with a traffic violation drove past the traffic police post. Having failed to comply with the lawful demands of the police, he fled from the scene, ”the message says.
Now his identity has been established: the driver of the tinted Zhiguli was 27-year-old Basharatov Mehman Nazim-Ogly. He faces criminal punishment on the grounds of a crime under Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“The use of violence against a representative of a government body”).
On November 21, Kamal Idrisov, who was driving in a car with the cousin of the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov Usman, was arrested for a month and a half on charges of hitting a police officer in Dagestan. Nurmagomedov himself was recognized as a witness in the case, and no preventive measure was chosen against him.
