A seven-year-old girl in Odintsovo was hospitalized after the explosion of a firecracker, the prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region began a check. This was reported on December 5 by the press service of the department.
According to preliminary data, on the evening of December 4, a firecracker exploded in the child’s hands, and the injured girl was hospitalized.
In the course of the audit, which will be carried out by the Odintsovo city prosecutor’s office, the reasons and circumstances of the incident will be established, as well as an assessment of the fulfillment of the requirements of federal legislation will be given.
Based on the results of the verification, the issue of taking measures of the prosecutor’s response will be resolved.
Earlier, in August, two teenagers, 16 and 17 years old, received severe hand injuries in the explosion of a homemade firecracker in the Voronezh region. It was reported that the teenagers tried to set fire to an improvised explosive device from a metal pipe filled with sulfur from matches. When the firecracker was set on fire, it exploded in their hands.
