Hayat Al-Raisi, 43, and Maria Gazibagandova, 33, arrived in Cyprus as tourists – one in early summer, the other about a month and a half ago. In mid-November, both women disappeared.
According to the representative of the Russian embassy in the Republic of Cyprus Sergey Lagutenko, three men were detained, one of whom confessed to the murder. Both tourists rented an apartment in Larnaca.
