The Madame Pavlova café in Kazan, which allowed visitors without QR codes, is now only takeaway. This became known on Sunday, December 5th.
From November 22 in the Republic of Tatarstan, a ban on travel in city, suburban, intermunicipal public transport without QR codes on vaccination against COVID-19, a past illness or a certificate of medical removal began to operate.
In response to this, the Madame Pavlova cafe, located on Serov Street, declared itself a “territory of constitutional rights” and let everyone in without restrictions, and on every table was the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
As a result, first the police came to the institution, then the employees of Rospotrebnadzor. A protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against the girls-owners due to non-observance of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, reports “Tatarstan 24”.
“We have had a trial, now we need to appeal it, make some decisions to meet with lawyers … If we continue to work in the same format, these will be new processes. Therefore, while we decided to work legally, take away, letting no one in. It’s just that everyone takes their food with them, ”the owners said on their Instagram account.
In addition, the landlord obliged the housewives to eliminate all violations in two days, otherwise he would terminate the lease. The Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Tatarstan also sent an appeal to the management of the institution.
Against the background of new restrictions on public transport in Kazan, there were several conflicts and fights. So, one of the passengers broke the nose of the controller who was checking QR codes. In addition, another citizen refused to show the QR code, which is why trams temporarily stopped on the street.
On the first day of the restriction in Tatarstan, more than 500 passengers without QR codes were dropped off the transport. Also, experts from Metroelektrotrans told about a half-hour delay in the movement of tram routes No. M1 and No. M6 due to the fact that the passenger refused to show the QR code and did not leave the tram, but called the police, calling the conductor’s actions illegal.
It became known on November 6 that the system of QR codes will be extended to public transport in the republic. It was noted that for travel, citizens will need to present a QR code on vaccination or a certificate of a past illness. The QR code system will be mandatory for all citizens over 18 years old, the press service of the President of the Republic added.
