The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory is checking the involvement of a 16-year-old teenager in the murder of a 13-year-old resident of the village of Nina in the Soviet District of Stavropol Territory. This is stated on December 6 in a message on the department’s website.
The deceased child disappeared on December 5. The search for him was organized by the investigation and the police. The boy’s body was found on the same day, the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest.
“On this fact, the Soviet Interdistrict Investigation Department of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph“ c ”of Part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder of a minor”) “, – noted in the investigation department.
According to preliminary data from the investigation, in 2019, a 16-year-old acquaintance of the minor found a gun, which he did not tell anyone about. On December 5, they went together to the forest for mushrooms.
“The 16-year-old had a gun with him, from which there was a shot in the direction of the minor. Frightened, the teenager fled the scene and hid the gun, ”the investigators believe.
In the framework of the criminal case, investigative actions were carried out, expert examinations were appointed.
The head of the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory, Igor Ivanov, instructed to transfer this criminal case to the first department for the investigation of particularly important cases of the Investigation Department.
