“The military, you understand that their heads are a little out of order,” the woman told reporters. In her opinion, military service negatively influenced Glazov, which could provoke aggressive behavior in him.
For the rest, as the interlocutor of Izvestia noted, the man was a “normal neighbor”. However, she did not communicate closely with him, the neighbor emphasized.
“I was a normal neighbor. In the Soviet Union, at one time his family went abroad, more of them [его родителей] nobody has seen. The family is normal, two brothers, ”she said.
A neighbor noted that Glazov did not have a wife and children. He lived alone in the apartment.
“In the summer I was normal, I rode a bicycle. There was nothing unusual, ”the woman concluded.
Earlier on Wednesday, it became known that all four victims of the attack, men with firearms in the Ryazansky MFC, are in a difficult state.
The shooting took place on December 7. According to Izvestia, the attacker made a scandal after he was asked to put on a mask at the entrance. The man, according to eyewitnesses, behaved inappropriately, made loud statements about the end of the world and called the coronavirus pandemic a world conspiracy.
The gunman was neutralized by senior police lieutenant Georgy Domolaev, who was at the workplace without a weapon. Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev decided to nominate him for a state award.
On the same day, the man’s mother said that she did not know the reasons why her son opened fire. According to her, her son always studied well, completed military service, went on business trips to different countries and retired from military service.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact of murder and illegal arms trafficking. The Moscow prosecutor’s office took control of the investigation of this case.
The apartment and the car of the man suspected of killing two and wounding four people at the MFC were searched. A box with things confiscated during the search was taken out of the apartment. Law enforcement officials continue to establish the causes of the incident.
