In the Nizhny Novgorod region, one person died in an accident with a bus and a truck. This was announced on Thursday, December 9, by REN TV.
The accident happened earlier that day in the Ardatovskiy district near the Ideal village. On the Ardatov-Arzamas road, a PAZ bus carrying workers and a KamAZ truck collided. One person died, nine more were injured. In total, there were 23 passengers on the bus.
The bus driver was fatally injured in the road accident. Seven more people were injured. The regional Ministry of Health said that the victims were taken to a hospital in Arzamas. According to “RIA Novosti”, three of the victims have a condition of moderate severity.
As the TV channel “Zvezda” notes, six people and two pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the accident.
Earlier on December 9, two women were killed in a collision of a car with two trucks on the Tyumen-Khanty-Mansiysk federal highway in the Tyumen region. A 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital.
