Private helicopter Robinson R66 has given an emergency signal in the region of Karakol lakes in Altai. This was reported on December 10 by the press service of the Siberian Aviation Search and Rescue Center of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
It is specified that a rescue helicopter Mi-8 was sent to the scene.
“The signal of the emergency beacon – ecospas – was received. And to these coordinates a rescue Mi-8 flew from Gorno-Altaysk. It happened in the region of the Karakol lakes, ”TASS reports from the emergency services.
Robinson R66 is a five-seat helicopter manufactured by the American company Robinson Helicopter.
Earlier that day, a private seven-seater IAR 316B helicopter made an emergency landing in the Republic of Buryatia after being caught in a vortex ring. There was one person on board the aircraft, he was not injured. The helicopter was partially destroyed as a result of a hard landing.
On the fact of the aviation incident, the IC staff began a pre-investigation check.
