A girl riding a “cheesecake” crashed into a train wheel in the suburbs

In Korolev, near Moscow, a five-year-old girl was hit by an electric train while riding a “cheesecake”; in connection with the incident, a check was started. This was reported on Sunday, December 12, by the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow region.

According to preliminary data, the day before, the child rode with his parents down the hill on a tubing. However, the “cheesecake” ran over a hillock and changed direction, going in the direction of the nearby railway tracks. The girl hit her head on a train wheel, she was hospitalized and received medical attention.

A set of necessary verification measures is being carried out. The audit will be made a procedural decision.

“The Main Investigation Department draws attention and warns about the need for a more responsible approach of parents (other persons) to ensure the safe implementation of downhill skiing in winter,” the statement says.

Earlier, in January, a boy died in Moscow after hitting his head while riding a tubing. According to the investigation, while riding downhill on a tubing in the North-Western District of the capital, the child hit his head and lost consciousness. Eyewitnesses of the incident called an ambulance, but the victim died on the spot. The TFR opened a criminal case for causing death by negligence.
