“At 20.25 … information was received that as a result of a gas pipeline breakthrough, flare combustion was taking place between the settlements of Ust-Nevinka and Belomechetskaya. There are no threats to settlements, ”the ministry said.
They clarified that the breakthrough was recorded on a pipe with a diameter of 500 mm. The height of the flame reaches 1.5 m. Eight pieces of equipment and 21 people are involved in the elimination of the consequences of the accident.
According to the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, there were no casualties.
“An accident on a gas pipeline near the village of Belomechetskaya. Fire brigades have already arrived at the scene, and the elimination of combustion begins. There are no victims, no threat to settlements. I myself am at the scene. The situation is under control, ”he wrote on his Instagram account.
Earlier, on August 1, in Yakutsk, on the 50 Let Oktyabrya highway, a breakthrough occurred on a high-pressure reserve gas pipeline with a diameter of 300 mm. It was noted that the leak was localized, there were no casualties.
