The premiere screenings of the world’s first children’s immersive musical Zumer took place in Moscow on Wednesday, December 15.
The production was created by the Russian movement of schoolchildren in cooperation with the National Open Championship of Creative Competencies ArtMasters and the Music Academy of Igor Matvienko M.A.M.A.
The heroes of the musical are 84 schoolchildren from different regions of Russia, as well as professional theater and film actors, including Rodion Gazmanov and Anastasia Stotskaya. The work on the musical was supervised by the chief producer Elena Kiper and the producer, director of ANO ArtMasters Borislav Volodin.
First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko congratulated the participants on the successful premiere.
“I congratulate you all! Actors, first of all, and spectators, although there were no purely spectators – everyone was a little bit actors. I congratulate you on the fact that you have succeeded, you are great. I understand that for many of you it was such a dream, there was a difficult competition, selection, rehearsals. I know you had to work eight to ten hours a day. Of course, you are tired, but I see joy and pride in your eyes, ”Kiriyenko said.
The talents of the young participants in the production were also appreciated by the singer Anastasia Stotskaya.
“I have not seen any shyness, no clamps, they are so free, they sing beautifully, move beautifully, and the plot is such that, willy-nilly, you want to cry. Here the wall of misunderstanding between generations is breaking down. Peace, friendship, chewing gum, ”she said.
Composer and producer Igor Matvienko himself took part in the rehearsals and also noted the efforts of the schoolchildren.
“When this bustle, this bustle of the premieres, I wish the guys to continue to improve themselves, to develop their skills, because they are very talented,” the composer shared.
