Two police officers were injured in the collapse of the facade of a house on Mytninskaya Street in St. Petersburg. They were sent to the Mariinsky hospital.

As REN TV clarifies, the victims were diagnosed with concussions and bruises, their condition is assessed as moderate. According to some information, the injured are a major and a police lieutenant colonel.

The incident was tentatively connected with a breakthrough of a protective mesh from a bay window located on the second floor of building 46/8 on 4th Sovetskaya. As a result, the plaster layer collapsed.

At the same time, according to the management of ZhKS No. 3, which is in charge of the management of the building, the building was considered to approach the time of major repairs. The initiator of this was the management company, which provided all the necessary documents to update the address list for the overhaul of the facades of houses for 2021.

On December 5, the ceilings of an unexploited building collapsed in Tuva. One person died, another was injured. The second worker was removed after more than nine hours. The prosecutor’s office and the Investigative Committee began checks on the fact of the incident.
