Hollywood star Keanu Reeves revealed that some of the action scenes that had already been filmed have been removed from The Matrix Resurrection. He admitted this in an interview with Izvestia on Thursday, December 16.
The leading actor in the new part of the fantastic action movie noted that on the set he worked with the same coach as 20 years ago for the trilogy.
“This gentleman’s name is Tiger Chen Hu, you may have heard of him. Oddly enough – you will not see this in the film – this time we paid much more attention in training to kicks. But they didn’t work out very well for me. So in the end they are simply not in the film, they were all cut out, ”explained Reeves.
According to him, the trainings were held in the usual format. The actors worked in the dojo, did warm-ups and stretches, practiced wushu and focused on kicks.
“And then we moved on to an individual training program for each and then worked out the choreography of the fights,” he said.
The Matrix Resurrection is a fantastic action movie directed by Lana Wachowski that is directly related to the classic trilogy and brings back well-known heroes to the screens. Including Neo played by Keanu Reeves and Trinity, played by Carey-Anne Moss.
