Experts explained the situation with the general market tendency to optimize areas, an increase in the supply structure of the most compact lots.
The company also noted that over the past year, a significant volume of new projects with compact sections entered the market – both large new residential complexes and small redevelopment facilities (former administrative buildings or other non-residential facilities) with good transport accessibility.
According to realtors, the popularity of duplex apartments is growing. With a small total area, due to the second level, you can design a comfortable space for one person or even a young couple.
Optimization of the area of comfort and business class apartments became especially noticeable in 2020-2021. Five years ago, the average apartment size was comparable to 2020, analysts added.
