The ground services car caught fire at the capital’s Sheremetyevo airport. Izvestia obtained a video from the scene of the incident.
The footage shows how flames burst from the driver’s cab.
Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident. According to preliminary data, the car caught fire while loading food into the plane.
Other details have not yet been reported.
On December 16, at Sheremetyevo, an Airbus A350 plane “dropped” a deicer – a machine for de-icing aircraft. The operator of the car was injured and had fractures.
A little later, footage from the sprinkler’s cab appeared on the Web. The video shows that the employees are scared by what is happening. Screams are heard in the deicer cabin. Then the moment of the car overturning gets into the frame.
Investigative bodies of the Western Interregional Investigative Directorate of Transport began a pre-investigation check of the state of emergency. A set of necessary verification measures was organized, aimed at establishing all the circumstances and causes of what happened, as well as damage.
