“The register of unregistered public associations performing the functions of a foreign agent includes the Far Eastern public movement Mayak,” the publication says.
The organization for the implementation of social and legal programs “Lilith” is also included in the corresponding list.
On December 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the instruments regulating the activities of foreign agents in Russia should be legally verified to see if they harm the work of Russian NGOs. At the same time, according to him, the law on foreign agents helps the country to preserve the independence of the state from outside interference.
On December 3, the Ministry of Justice included four journalists in the register of foreign media agents. So, the list includes: Khisamova Regina Faritovna, Himalova Regina Emilevna, Grigoriev Andrey Valerievich and Grigorieva Alina Aleksandrovna. In addition, the register of NGOs performing the functions of a foreign agent includes an association for promoting the protection of the rights of conscripts, alternative employees and military personnel “Human Rights Group“ Citizen. Army. Right”.
According to the law “On Mass Media”, materials from foreign media that perform the functions of a foreign agent can only be posted in Russia with the appropriate labeling. Due to non-fulfillment of this requirement, protocols are drawn up with respect to foreign agents.
