Izvestia obtained new data on the condition of the victims of the fire at the Severnaya Verf shipyard in St. Petersburg.
In total, three people were injured, the condition of one of them is assessed as moderate, two more are in a satisfactory condition. Two victims were taken to the hospital.
According to the Izvestia source, the fire occurred on the Provorny ship under construction. It is clarified that the crew was not on the corvette at the time of the fire, and all the victims were plant employees who worked at the construction site.
According to the emergency services, currently the area of the fire has reached 800 square meters. m, it was assigned the 4th difficulty rank. 168 people and 42 pieces of equipment take part in extinguishing the fire.

The Provorny missile corvette is the second ship of Project 20385. It is equipped with cruise missiles, an ultra-long-range anti-aircraft system and a powerful radar capable of detecting targets hundreds of kilometers away.
In February, sources in the military department told Izvestia that the Provorny corvette would become part of the Joint Forces Command in northeast Russia and would be based in Kamchatka. It is expected that by the end of next year, the corvette will be handed over to the fleet and will begin service in the northeastern borders of the country.
