Anastasia Sheredko, 30, while in Cambodia, met a Chinese citizen on the WeChat social network. She met with him on December 12, then told a friend named Michelle her geolocation and the man’s contacts, after which she stopped communicating.
Her Internet acquaintance first said that Anastasia had allegedly gone home, but on the evening of December 16, he demanded $ 10,000 from the girl’s friends in exchange for information about her whereabouts.
“When asked to send at least a video with her, the Chinese says that she is allegedly already with other people,” Michelle told Lenta.ru.
Friends of Anastasia Shereredko turned to the Russian embassy, while local law enforcement agencies, according to the kidnapped friend, are inactive.
On August 4, in the village of Rincon de la Victoria, located in the Spanish province of Malaga, a 36-year-old Russian woman was killed by her 53-year-old husband. The deceased’s name was Oksana, she had lived in Spain for a long time and even received citizenship.
