Fans of British actor Tom Felton, known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie, came to the Moscow Expo Center for an autograph session with their idol, which hosts the Bubble Comics Con festival of pop culture, comics, films, games and cosplay.
The festival will last for two days – December 18-19. The program of the event includes an autograph session with Felton.
The fans carefully prepared for the meeting with the actor. So, one of them came to the autograph session in the form of the queen of the underworld.
“I sewed it myself, the mask was made of plastic,” she said about the preparations for the meeting with Felton.
Another fan appeared with an owl, which many initially took for a living, but later realized that it was a toy bird.
Another girl, whose name is Maria, recorded an appeal to Felton, in which she said that, like her friend, she adores him. In addition, she asked the actor for a personal meeting.
«Draco Malfoy has always been my favorite in Harry Potter. We would really like to see you at Comics Con, because this is my friend’s greatest desire, ”she said.
The day before, on December 17, on the eve of Felton’s arrival in Moscow, scammers came up with a scheme to deceive Russians by selling non-existent tickets for an autograph session with him.
One of Felton’s fans saw the message about ticket sales on the VKontakte social network. The girl immediately suspected something was wrong and began to find out the details of the event. It turned out that for a ticket to the “photo session” with Malfoy, the scammers demand 7 thousand rubles.
The Russian woman immediately went to the police and told law enforcement officers about what was happening. Currently, this fact is being checked.
