Six people were injured in an accident in Yakutia

Six people, including two minors, were injured in an accident in Yakutia. This was reported on Sunday, December 19, by REN TV with reference to the regional traffic police department.

As noted in the department, on the evening of December 18 on the federal highway “Lena” the driver of the Suzuki Grand Vitara drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with Toyota Ipsum. As a result of injuries of varying severity, the driver and five passengers of Toyota were injured.

The inspection clarified that there are two children among the victims, and stressed that the seat belts helped to avoid the tragedy. Everyone in the cars was wearing their seatbelts.

On the same day, two people died and two more were injured as a result of a collision of two cars on Russky Island in Primorye. Immediately after the accident, the car caught fire. When the firefighters arrived, one of the two vehicles was completely engulfed in flames.
