Lawyer warned summer residents about fines for uncleared snow

Leading lawyer of the European Legal Service Yuri Avanesov on Sunday, December 19, recalled: in some situations, due to uncleared snow, both physical and legal owners of garden non-profit partnerships (SNT) can be fined.

According to him, fines are issued if snowdrifts block free access to buildings, fire escapes, hydrants, reservoirs, which are sources of external fire-fighting water supply.

“Thus, if by means of uncleared snow in the public territory obstacles are created, for example, for passage, then in this case such inaction constitutes an administrative offense and will be qualified under Part 1 of Art. 20.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “, – quotes the words of the lawyer, the agency” Prime “.

For such a violation, individuals face a fine from 2 thousand to 3 thousand rubles, for officials from 6 thousand to 25 thousand rubles and for legal entities – 150 thousand to 200 thousand rubles. It does not matter whether the summer resident is a member of the partnership or not.

Earlier, on December 17, it became known that in 2022, drivers in Russia will be able to “fine” each other for traffic violations using a new mobile application. The People’s Inspector application will appear on the basis of the Moscow Assistant.
