In Achinsk on Sunday, December 19, the police detained the wife of the cashier Anna Grigorieva, suspected of embezzling 23 million rubles.

On December 16, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, announced that a cashier was arrested in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, suspected of stealing bank money. The court granted the investigator’s petition and chose her a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of one month and 24 days.
On December 14, it became known that the suspect had surrendered to the police. After committing the theft, she hid for a week. According to the investigation, the duty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a message from the head of the credit and cash office of a financial organization about the theft of 15 million rubles, $ 49.5 thousand and € 49.2 thousand belonging to the institution.
On the same day, a message was received from her mother that her daughter was missing. The investigation suggested that the suspect’s mother actually knew about her whereabouts. The woman was interviewed again. As a result, she convinced her daughter to stop hiding and report to the police.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Appropriation or embezzlement”.
