Child and family psychologist Yekaterina Vechernova on Sunday, December 19, commented on an incident that took place in a kindergarten in Kazakhstan, where children put on a scene staging the shooting of a student by Soviet soldiers.
According to the expert, such performances are dangerous for the child’s psyche.
“When the topic of violence appears in a child’s life and he becomes a witness, the more it affects his picture of the world, which is normal. The same cartoons about Tom and Jerry, where an aggressive attitude towards one character is normal, then the child develops a certain feeling that this is possible. But when the child enters the role and becomes not only a passive observer, but becomes an active participant – he experiences emotions, feelings, as expressed in this scene, then, of course, the child is imprinted with those emotional states and a feeling of power appears, permissiveness, a certain the norm, ”she told REN TV.
She also added that it is better for children to receive information in doses.
“In addition, a child’s psyche is sometimes unstable to various events, especially to events associated with violence, aggression and cruelty, because the child has a certain projection – he empathizes with the protagonist. And it will be difficult for him to cope, since the psyche is not ready for such emotional experiences, ”the specialist noted.
According to Vechernova, some children will calmly react to this, but for others, the case may have consequences.
“Even if someone in the kindergarten group took it calmly, there will be a child who will find it hard. And one way or another, he will then play it in children’s games, he can use it in communication. That is, the child will be fixated on this topic, ”she concluded.
A video in which children in Soviet uniforms with machine guns lead a boy disguised as a student to the “execution” appeared on the Web earlier the same day. The recording shows that five children participated in the scene, the teacher was watching them. At the same time, you can see that the head of the boy who played the student was bandaged, and stains of “blood” are visible on his clothes.
