Died Russian film director Andrei Malyukov. On December 19, the 74-year-old director’s death was announced by his cousin, actress Natalya Bondarchuk.
Malyukov died from the consequences of the coronavirus.
“Today, on the day of commemoration of St. Nicholas, my beloved cousin has passed away. Our mothers, Inna Makarova and Nina Makarova, are sisters. We have one grandmother who raised us – the Siberian writer Anna German. We grew up together, Andryusha became a famous director, ”Bondarchuk wrote on Facebook.
The date and place of the farewell to the director have not been specified.
Andrey Malyukov was born on January 6, 1948. He was a filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. In 2004 he received the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, and in 1980 he became a laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after the Vasilyev brothers.
He is the director of the films “In the zone of special attention”, “We are from the future”, “Match” and other films. He was also the artistic director of the film “Sobibor”.
