Another symptom of pancreatic cancer has become known

A strange, throbbing sensation under the ribs can signal a person that they have pancreatic cancer. This statement was made by British scientists, the Daily Express reported on December 16.

As explained in the publication, referring to the research of scientists, such sensations arise due to the fact that the pancreas is located there. The new symptom is less common: most often, patients suffering from this disease complain of back pain, loss of appetite and weight.

“According to New Scientist reports, pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. According to statistics, 95% of people suffering from this disease die within five years. This tumor is one of the most resistant to drugs, ”the message says.

The newspaper also cited a study by The Pancreas Foundation, which states that a small number of cases of pancreatic cancer are called islet cell cancer. This form can lead to low blood sugar due to changes in insulin in the pancreas. Because of this, the patient may feel chills, muscle cramps and suffer from diarrhea.

On December 19, Russian nutritionist Svetlana Fus called figs a useful product for restoring the work of the gastrointestinal tract. According to her, it is food for bacteria living in the gut and contributes to the normal functioning of the digestive system due to its high fiber content. A dietitian advises people who are prone to constipation to use figs. However, it should be added to the diet wisely – excessive consumption can provoke diarrhea and flatulence.
