A VAZ-2110 car with a driver inside fell into a hole dug by public utilities on Pavlova Street in Kursk. This became known on Monday, December 20.
When the car fell over onto the roof, the 25-year-old driver survived. He got out of the vehicle on his own, passers-by had already helped him out of the pit. The driver was not injured, only shock.
“I don’t remember how I got out of the car. But I got out myself, already at the edge of the pit someone gave me a hand. There seems to be no damage, just shock, ”the victim told REN TV.
It is reported that a hole was dug in the road to repair a rupture in heating systems. According to the driver of the VAZ, he noticed a sign “Repair work”, but did not have time to rebuild, as he was cut off at that moment by another car.
“Together with the rescuers, the machine was unblocked with a crane to the surface. There are no casualties, ”said the commander of the second fire and rescue unit of Kursk, Maxim Komarov.
On October 18, in Rostov-on-Don, a car with children fell into a hole in the road. The incident took place on Tatarskaya Street, where the asphalt was damaged due to a break in the water supply system.
