On December 20, streaming service HBO Max published a trailer for the film dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter franchise.
The special “Harry Potter 20 Years Later: Return to Hogwarts” will feature actors – Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Rafe Fiennes (Voldemort), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) and others, Harry Potter directors – Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell and David Yates, as well as producer David Hayman.
In the trailer, the actors recall the films, as well as the holidays in the Great Hall of Hogwarts.
“When it gets really dark, and times are really tough, there’s something about Harry Potter that makes life richer,” Hermione’s Emma Watson says as the trio of friends converse in the Gryffindor common living room.
“This is a strong bond that we will always have,” agreed Rupert Grint.
The premiere of the special issue is January 1, 2022. It will show the scenery of Hogwarts, and also tell about how the magical world was created based on the books of the British writer J.K. Rowling.
Earlier on December 9, HBO Max tweeted a photo of the main actors in the Harry Potter franchise: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. The picture shows the “golden trio” is located in the living room of Gryffindor at Hogwarts.
