At least a dozen passenger cars of fishermen on the Artemovka River in the Primorsky Territory fell through the wheels under the ice.
A video with the incident appeared on December 21 on the page “Fishing in Primorsky Krai” in Instagram. According to the author of the video, the water in the river is “knee-deep”, but soon the temperature will drop below zero, the ice will freeze and the cars will not be able to leave.
At the same time, RIA Novosti, with reference to the regional Ministry of Emergencies, writes that there are no victims as a result of the incident.
“We once again remind the fishermen about the danger of going out and going on thin ice,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations did not specify exactly how many cars were damaged.
Earlier, on December 8, a passenger car fell under the ice of the Irtysh River near the village of Borodinka in the Omsk region. The driver managed to leave the salon of the sinking car. The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that warning signs were installed next to the river. The driver ignored them.
