The doctor spoke about the influence of the time of day on the training result

Physical therapy physician Larisa Sorokina on December 21 said that it is important to take into account the time of day when playing sports. According to her, the result of the training depends on this.

So, the specialist advises cardio training to be carried out in the morning, so a person will start the process of fat burning for the next hours.

“The advantage of cardio in the morning is the so-called afterburning effect: calories are burned both during exercise and after. Thus, the process of fat burning starts, which continues throughout the day, “Sorokina said in an interview with AiF.

It is also beneficial to exercise early in the evening, because “body temperature reaches its maximum, metabolism accelerates, and muscles become more elastic. This makes the exercise effective and reduces the risk of sprains or injuries. “

The specialist clarified that in the middle of the day a person is 5% stronger, and in the evening he is more enduring. In this regard, the optimal time for training is from 15:00 to 19:00.

“If a person is tormented by certain sleep problems, then it is better for him to give up evening workouts and not go to classes after 19:00. If you need to relax your muscles, you should choose gentle practices like yoga or stretching. They will help to achieve the desired effect, ”added Sorokina.

However, Sorokina emphasized that one should not rely only on general recommendations. In this matter, it is better to focus on your biological clock. For some, the maximum activity is manifested in the morning hours, and for others – in the evening.

On June 21, it was reported that the squat, deadlift and bench press are considered the most traumatic exercises in fitness, they are recommended to be done with a partner who can hedge if something goes wrong.
