The fishermen disappeared on Wednesday, December 22, on the Samara River in the village of Chkalovo. It is noted that the men fell through the ice on their way home. According to RT, the dead are men born in 1942, 1950, 1954 and 1966.
According to the website aif.ru, they went fishing and did not contact their relatives for a long time. The belongings of the victims were found on the bank of the river, according to the TV channel “360”.
Divers searched for the bodies of the victims and found them only on Thursday. The regional SU of the Investigative Committee clarified that the investigators are currently checking the incident.
On December 6, on the Kama River near the village of Staraya Pristan, a fisherman fell through the ice and drowned. Rescuers who arrived on a hovercraft found the deceased 50 meters from the shore. The man’s body was taken to land, where it was handed over to police officers.
