On Thursday, December 23, participants of Quartet I Leonid Barats, Alexander Demidov, Kamil Larin and Rostislav Khait announced a possible continuation of the film “What Men Talk About” at a creative meeting at the Izvestia Medical Center.
“Slava (Rostislav Khait. – Ed.) Answered evasively about the continuation of the film, and I will say that, most likely, it will be,” Barats explained.
Demidov stressed that the team has an idea to shoot a series about “Quartet I”.
“We have an idea to make a TV series about Quartet I and play ourselves at the age we are now. We want to find young guys who are like us. Indeed, a generation has actually grown up on the Quartet I, ”he stressed.
In addition, the artists noted that at the moment the third part of the projects “Loudspeaker” and “Feedback” is still unknown, since due to coronavirus restrictions it was not possible to understand how commercially successful the film, released in 2020, turned out to be.
On December 23, a creative meeting with the actors and founders of the Quartet I theater was held at the Izvestia MIC press center.
The participants of the meeting talked about their creative plans, long-term friendship, work in a new genre for themselves and the premiere of the play “One day from the death of Vadik Belyaev, Soviet schoolboy, Russian businessman, American pensioner.”
The theater “Quartet I” was founded in 1993. The collective gained particular fame after the screen version of the performances “Election Day”, “What Men Talk About”, “Radio Day” and others.
