Tekstilshchiki metro station started working normally after repairing a leak from a hydrant

In Moscow, the Tekstilshchiki metro station of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line resumed its normal operation after eliminating the water leak from the fire hydrant. The press service of the Moscow Metro announced this on Thursday, December 23.

“Previously, there was a short-term flow of water to the platform from a fire hydrant. The station staff promptly shut off the tap and organized the cleaning of the water. Nothing threatens the comfort and safety of passengers, “the Moscow metro told the city news agency.

Earlier that day, a fire hydrant burst at the Tekstilshchiki metro station, which caused water to be poured over the platform and the passing train. The incident did not affect the safety of passengers, according to the TV channel “360”.

Earlier that day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced during the opening of the new Matveevskaya station of the future MCD-4 that 10 new and reconstructed stations of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) are planned to open in 2022.
